Guided visit with entry · By the pond, Nativity facade

Priority access guided tour

This guided visit starts by the pond in front of the Nativity facade and ends in the museum, with skip-the-line entry and an audio system to hear your guide. It is the lowest-priced guided tour with entry on this site, and it often still has places when the official tickets for your day are gone.

Priority Access Guided Tour

About this experience

The meeting point is the view across the pond in Plaça de Gaudí, the small park in front of the Nativity facade, where most of the classic photos of the basilica are taken. Your guide hands out an audio set so you can hear clearly, then takes the group through the skip-the-line entrance.

Inside, the tour covers the nave, the transept and the sanctuary: the columns modelled on trees, the symbolism Gaudí built into every corner and the colour from the windows. The basilica's own blog explains the glass: cool blue and green windows on the Nativity side for the morning sun, warm red and orange on the Passion side for the evening. You finish in the Sagrada Familia Museum, with Gaudí's original sketches, models and artifacts, and the itinerary leaves free time at the end.

The listing is honest about the basilica's quirks: the entrance can be delayed in high season, security checks take time, and parts of the building may close for events. Tours run rain or shine. It is not suitable for children under 6, wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility, and there is no tower. Guests rate it 4.8 from 6,390 reviews, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Our tour guide Romina was amazing! She was a local who actually frequently attends mass at Sagrada Familia. She had lots of insight into the history and meaning of the church.

Tips before you book

  • Bring a passport or ID card, as the listing asks. The basilica's FAQ says tickets are personal and carry the visitor's name, and an original photo ID that matches the ticket must be shown at the entrance.
  • Dress modestly: the listing rules out shorts, short skirts and sleeveless shirts. The basilica's rules ask for trousers and skirts at least to mid-thigh, no see-through clothing, no swimwear and no hats in the nave or the museum. Jeans are fine.
  • Leave food, glass bottles and anything sharp behind. The listing lists all of them as not allowed.
  • Allow extra time in summer. The listing warns that entry may be delayed in high season.
  • Compare it with the others in our guided tour or audio guide guide.
